Warranty Policy

Rexgear warrants that the products will be free from defects in material and workmanship for the specified period. The warranty period will vary by specific product. You can find the warranty period for different products listed below. This warranty is limited to the original purchaser and is non-transferable, except where prohibited by applicable local law. This warranty does not cover shipping, labor, misuse, faulty installation, failure of related parts or products purchased other than from Rexgear. Rexgear does not support warranty claims on gray/grey market sales or purchases made from non-authorized dealers. Rexgear will, at its sole discretion, either repair or replace defective products, or parts thereof, with new or refurbished functional equivalent products or parts. Repaired or replaced products and parts are warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period.

Warranty Period by Product

ITECH products have a two (2) year warranty.
PREEN products have a one (1) year warranty.
VITREK products have a one (1) year warranty.
REXGEAR products have a one (1) year warranty.
RIGOL products have a three (3) year warranty.

Special Warranty Arrangement

Where Rexgear deems it necessary to modify the requirements of this Warranty Policy to cover a particular product or service, Rexgear will issue a supplemental warranty letter setting forth the alternative provisions to be included in the contract between the customer and Rexgear.

Commencement of Warranty Period

The warranty period shall commence on the invoice date.

Extended Warranty

Warranty beyond the time period described above is available for purchase at the time of order entry. A maximum of 5 years of total warranty can be purchased. Contact Rexgear for pricing information and model availability.

Return Shipping

Customers are required to pay shipping and handling charges, as well as any applicable tariffs, duties, taxes, or other fees, to return products to Rexgear for warranty services. Do not return your product without prior approval from Rexgear. Any product returned without a valid unique RMA number will be refused and returned to the sender at the sender’s expense. Rexgear will pay for the return of products to the customer.

How To Obtain Warranty Services

For products requiring repair service from Rexgear in the USA, Canada and Mexico, customers shall contact the local sales office to obtain a Rexgear Return Merchandise Authorization form. This form must be filled out completely including product catalog number, serial numbers, and complete problem description, and emailed to Rexgear. A Rexgear technical support engineer may contact you to discuss problems described prior to issuing an RMA number.

Return Addresses

Your RMA confirmation will specify a specific return address to send your return. This will be your standard return location and should not be changed without prior approval from Rexgear. Any packages received at an unauthorized location may be refused and returned to the sender at the sender’s expense.

Products Lost or Damaged During Transit

When returning a product, we recommend that you use a return shipping method that provides tracking information. Rexgear is not responsible for damage incurred during shipping to an RMA location. If possible, use the original packaging material to pack the product for return. If the original packaging is unavailable, you should use packing materials that provide the same or greater protection to the product. Packages that arrive with any external damage or appear inadequately packed may be refused and returned to the sender at the sender’s expense.

Limitation on Warranty

The Warranties shall not apply if: (1) the product has been improperly installed or operated, and/or used in any way other than as contemplated by the specifications or contrary to instructions by Rexgear or the manufacturer(s), (2) the product has been serviced or modified by anyone other than by Rexgear or the manufacturer(s), (3) the product is not installed in a suitable operating environment prescribed by Rexgear or the manufacturer(s), (4) the material deviation or defect in the product was caused by deviation from Rexgear's or the manufacturer(s) recommended customary and standard maintenance or operating procedures, or (5) the result, the physical embodiments or benefits of the services performed by Rexgear have been in any manner changed, altered or modified by anyone other than Rexgear. The Warranty will not apply if the particular product’s serial number has been altered or removed. If any Warranty claims fall within any of the above exceptions, then customer shall pay to Rexgear, Rexgear's costs of investigating and identifying the problem, and Rexgear's then current charges to repair or correct the problem.

Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstance will Rexgear be liable for any damages, including without limitation direct, indirect, special, incidental, punitive, tort or consequential damages or loss of savings, revenues or profits, under any legal theory, sustained by the customer or any party or by any other person in connection with any order for Rexgear products, systems or services, or in connection with Rexgear supplied products, systems or services, whether involving the loss of data or otherwise. This limitation cannot be waived or amended by any person and will be effective even if Rexgear or its authorized representative has been advised of, or might have anticipated, the possibility of such damages.
